Notes: This is one of the most lackluster and boring root beers I have ever tasted in my life. It's very sweet, but the sweetness has a very strong light brown sugar flavor to it. You don't get many of the complex molasses-like flavors. It's completely lacking any of the minty, peppery, or vanilla tones you might find in most root beers. It is barely carbonated, which lends to the syrupy consistency of the product. And, it can have a rather unpleasant chemical aftertaste that has hints of cleanings products and dust. It reminds me a little bit of one of those root beer barrel candies, but one that was stale from having sat in the bottom of your grandmother's purse for 13 years. There is an interesting caramel note to the soda, but in general, it lacks all of the complexity of flavor that I really enjoy in a root beer.
